Above all else, this was a cathartic issue to write. Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series is a genuinely awful remaster, possibly my least favourite game I've ever played, but being a fairly "faithful" remaster in terms of gameplay, there's not really enough going on with it to warrant a full review. So, the moment it occurred to me that I could use the new Lightning Round segment type, I jumped on the chance, and it felt great. Getting to further talk about my experience with it in the Yap Trap afterwards was fun too. Likewise, Sonic Colours is a game I've hated for a long time as well, and I'm honestly surprised the idea to review it for Shame Corner didn't come to me sooner, so that was an enjoyable one to review as well.
