Welcome to my strange little website where I show off my creations! It's intended half as a single central place where I can have each of my various creative projects if I want to show someone, half as a fun thing to work on in and of itself and a place where I can share occasional blog posts. Recommended that you install the "Breathe Fire V" font from here to make the site look marginally nicer in some places. Webfonts are hard, my apologies. Oh, and if you run into John Human, don't trust him.

About

I'm Cosmic, a funny cartoon dog guy who lives inside your computer. I enjoy games, writing, art, anime/manga and probably other hobbies you'd expect from the sort of person who has a Neocities site. I enjoy making games in RPGMaker, but oddly enough I actually can't stand coding in most contexts, so I really didn't expect to enjoy making this site as much as I did. Maybe it's because I'm a bit of a beginner and haven't gotten to "The Hard Part", but HTML/CSS feels a lot more reasonable and human compared to something like, say, C# for example. No I won't learn Javascript, you can't make me. Anyway, my other things include The Monthly Silly, a monthly (in theory) magazine where I write reviews for games and the original reason I made this site, Little Grey Cat Game, a game about

A little grey cat, with small yet knowing eyes

^him, and Sillyfellows Inc, a world populated by creatures known as Sillyfellows. Haven't done as much with that one honestly, but I might at some point. Below, you can also find a recent Thingy I made that I'm particularly pleased with, as well as a brief section showing what I've been playing/watching recently. If you want to contact me for whatever reason, my username on Discord is "doggsmic".

Recently, I've been enjoying:

Bleach: TYBW Cour 4

Tomb Raider

Azure Dreams

Solstice

YO IT'S OUT!!! I've been looking forward to this since Cour 3 ended over a year ago, I love this show and I'm so glad we're getting more. Hard to give thoughts just yet, but I loved the first few episodes and am greatly looking forward to the rest of it.

That PS1 action platformer with the pointy boobs. Actually pretty great game, lots of weird PS1-isms that take a bit of getting used to but at its core it's a really solid take on a more realistic platformer with some great environments and a slower, more thoughtful gameplay style.

Really unique and interesting PS1 RPG, part monster-collecting Roguelike and part town-building simulator. Does get somewhat repetitive after a while, but it's always a great one to come back to every few months, really unlike anything else out there.

Isometric NES puzzle platformer where you have to explore an open-ended map for pieces of the Staff of Demnos. One of those games where you have to draw a map yourself which I always enjoy, just something really satisfying about it.
